A cooling tower is a specialized heat exchanger in which air and water are brought into direct contact with each other in order to reduce the water’s temperature. As this occurs, a small volume of water is evaporated, reducing the temperature of the water being circulated through the tower.

The air source heat pump absorbs heat from the outside air into a liquid refrigerant at a low temperature. Using electricity, the pump compresses the liquid to increase its temperature. A Thermic Fluid Heater (Thermal Oil Heater) is industrial heating equipment, used where only heat transfers are desired instead of pressure. In this equipment, thermic fluid is circulated in the entire system for heat transfers to the desired processes. Combustion process heats up the thermic fluid and this fluid carries and rejects heat to the desired fluid for concluding the processes. After rejecting it, this fluid comes back again to the thermic fluid heater and this cycle goes on.

A cyclone separator is an economical device for removing particulate solids from a fluid system. Boilers are pressure vessels designed to heat water and further produce steam, which can then be used to provide space heating and/or desired heat transfer to any heating processes.
